Pascale Berthelot, piano

« Pascale Berthelot is a musician with a sensibility, and I would have to say an extraordinary sensitivity. Music is for her an experience of mind and body, an everyday transcendence. » Gérard Pesson, composer.

A concert pianist, improviser and composer graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, Pascale Berthelot will present a programme of new music, including pieces by Gérard Pesson, Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber and some of her very own improvisations.

Since 2008, Pascale Berthelot is the artistic director of the collection Cuicatl, dedicated to new musics, for La Buissonne label (world distribution by ECM – France distribution by PIAS). In 2020, ECM Records released her latest album Saison Secrète.
