Nature has been the inspiration of composers for centuries. Now, through the power of the music of the 20th and 21st centuries, the virtuosi musicians of Ensemble Variances are urging audiences to pay attention to the changes to our planet and to our friends in the animal kingdom.

Artistic Director Thierry Pécou creates a programme which stimulates our appreciation of nature’s lessons with some of his own compositions along with contemporary sounds by François-Bernard Mâche and Stevie Wishart.

About Ensemble Variances

With the vision of linking the music of our time with contemporary humanitarian and environmental issues, the Ensemble Variances was founded in 2010 by French composer and pianist Thierry Pécou and was a laureate of the Franco-British fund for contemporary music, Diaphonique.
