Exams
DELF examinations are official proof of your child’s competence in French. The diploma your child will receive is awarded by the French Ministry of Education. It is recognised throughout Europe and beyond. In the context of a growing demand for languages, it will make your child’s résumés and applications stand out from the crowd. The DELF Junior is the official gateway to admission into French universities, and features on the UCAS online application form. More and more British universities are taking interest in DELF/DALF examinations.
French Courses
Courses for children at the Institut français are specifically designed to assist your son or daughter to develop both his/her language skills and confidence. You can choose from our selection of Exam Preparation Courses or request a tailor-made Remedial Tuition to be designed to your son or daughter’s specific requirements (starting as young as 6 years old). Events for Families
The Institut français offers a range of activities for children and families, from French films and animations – subtitled or translated – to French tales for babies and kids, theatre, and even interactive classical music concerts.
