Lemmy Caution (Eddie Constantine) is a secret agent from the ‘Outlands’ whose aim is to destroy Alpha 60, a machine which controls all the city of Alphaville and its inhabitants through electronic and luminous signals. Despite the ban on human emotions, there is hope: love comes to Lemmy Caution through the poetry of Paul Eluard and Anna Karina’s character, Natasha Von Braun.
